The heart of engineering at Sheffield |
Why Explore the Outputs Page?
Whether you’re looking to discover innovative teaching practices, explore impactful research, or gain inspiration for your own projects, the Outputs Page is the perfect starting point. We will be happy to discuss our work with you. This might be finding out what happened next, to how it might work in your context. You can also invite the authors to talk to staff in your own establishment.
The page is divided into sections so you can easily find items. The sections are
Journal Articles and publications
Book
Hosted conferences
Invited talks and Keynotes
Workshops and Webinars
Blogs
Engineering and Teaching Shorts (Eats)
External / Other Engagement
Using these, you can easily find our activities and outputs, but you can also get some ideas of education initiatives you might like to implement. Contact us to find out more.
Keeping the Outputs Current
The page will be regularly updated to include the latest outputs, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for the Engineering Education Community . The papers are updated automatically, but capturing this information will rely on staff keeping us informed of their outputs and other activities. So we are encouraging our staff who’ve contributed to an educational initiative or published work they’d like to see featured to get in touch with the CEE team.
The Centre’s Networks and the Research Support Group will also capture these and also encourage staff to develop their careers using outputs.
A Strategic View
As one of our avowed aims of the Centre for Engineering Education is to raise our reputation in the Engineering Education firmament, we are working to showcase our teaching ideas, outputs and staff to the sector. This latest addition shows what we have done.
The Diamond, a centre of teaching innovation |
Our next initiative is to make it easy to find people who you can work with on projects or use to enhance your own teaching. This will be our ‘Collaborate with us’ section. Here we will make it easy to find Educators who are available to share their expertise with you. If you are looking for examiners, accreditors, speakers or someone to bounce ideas off, this will be the place to start your search.
